Discussion and Conclusion

At the end of the discussions the President Sir John Allison thanked the members and concluded as this:

- The meeting recognizes the need for extra funding and will consider in house how to help;
- The Board will submit a “sales” document containing why we need that, what are the threats and successes;
- The delegates will indicate in the General Meeting to what extent they can be of help;
- The Board will send a list of criteria for experts to do work for Europe Air Sports in working groups and a job description;
- The delegates will look who from their organizations could be seconded;
- The Board will make an “emergency kit” why and how lobby contacts could be made if needed and whom to contact;
- The Board will communicate periodic briefings, high level and simple, with main points and key strategic issues;
- A press release will be issued after the meeting including general items and specific items of the language proficiency requirement and definition if commercial;
- The list of e-mail contact addresses will be screened to ensure proper communication contacts for all these matters.
